10 Weeks – The Old School Hip Hop Hit – “Work It” By Elliott
The American rapper Missy Elliott and along with the producer Timothy Zachary Mosley added another feather to the hat for old school hip hop and dirty rap with their song “Work It” It was the first single from 2002 album “Under Construction” that made to the second position in US billboard of top 100, for ten weeks.

The video of this song featured Alyson stone as the lead child dancer, and it was dedicated to Aaliyah and Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes who were both recently dead. The song was such a hit that the only song that could surpass it was rap god Eminem’s “Lose Yourself.”
